That is a kind of weird article. Carousing at your "rented vacation home" is "the new normal"? He feels "tickled pink" to be back home with his wife (thus playing to the whole hilariously bizarre "Having a wife is so totally gay" feel of the thing)?

Umm... I'm pretty sure "tickled pink" is a pretty old expression having nothing to do with homosexuality.

Oh, I know that, I just think his usage of it is a little strange here, in that it's contrasted with all the Dude-Stuff that he's "leaving" by going home to his girlfriend (and seriously, does it make sense to you to think of a Dude being "tickled pink"?)
